Announcements by G-M Water and NSW Department of Water and Energy have not provided any increases in allocations, except for the Goulburn system increasing by 1% to 30%.
Further increases in allocations in the Lower Murray Darling Basin would be highly unlikely unless there were significant rains in the region. Extreme weather conditions in early February have not assisted on the evaporation front.
